We're located at 543 Seabright Ave., right on the corner of Logan St. across from Linda's Seabreeze Cafe (delicious!). There is metered parking right outside (25 cents for 30 minutes). Be aware that during certain times of the day parking in the area can be limited; if you can't find a spot on Seabright we suggest parking along one of the side streets just a short walk to our building. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can get you floating on schedule.
When you walk through our door you'll be greeted by a staff member and begin the check in process— a quick entering in of contact information, and acknowledgment of our user agreement. To expedite this process you can create a user account and book a float with the link at the bottom of this page. Once you're checked in we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about the float experience before walking you through the necessary procedures.
After your questions are answered and our briefing complete, we'll leave you in privacy to get ready for your float; shower thoroughly with soap and shampoo, dry off, cover any cuts or scrapes with the provided vaseline alternative, put in earplugs (optional), and step into the tank. Lay down and get comfortable, the music and lights will slowly fade and you'll be left in complete darkness.
The light and music will gently fade back on to signal that your float is over. Sit up slowly, careful that salt water doesn't drip from your hair down into your eyes. Wipe your face, then slowly get up to open the tank door— you may want to stand here for a few seconds to acclimate your senses. Watch your step as you exit the tank, making sure to use the hand rails. Shower once more to rinse off all of the saltwater. Dry completely and change back into your clothes, then head down the hall into our lounge area. Choose a comfy chair, enjoy a cup of warm herbal tea, have a snack, peruse our book selection, add to our board of float quotes, close your eyes and reflect, bask in your post float glow!
